We hold a variety of ready made 13A, 16A, 32A, 63A, and 125A extension leads in stock.

They are available in 240v (single phase) or 415v (3 phase) with any cable option e.g. arctic blue, HO7, white or black PVC flex. Ideal for all your outdoor events and marquee needs.

ANY PLUG, SOCKET AND CABLE COMBINATION YOU REQUIRE CAN BE MADE INTO AN EXTENSION LEAD.

All are PAT Tested for electrical safety.

THE USE OF 'ARCTIC' CABLE - Not suitable for outdoor use at 230v

It is common to see blue sheathed flexible cables, sometimes referred to as 'arctic' cable used on temporary installations.

Manufactured to BS 7919 (not harmonized), this type of cable was designed and is suitable for use on reduced low-voltage systems only, e.g. construction sites using 110 V transformers.
The blue cable can often be seen supplying caravans, at live musical events, and is widely used within the marquee industry. The cable was not designed for and is not suitable for outside use including marquees, despite its widespread use.

Cables for outdoor use at 230v should be rubber insulated and sheathed as specified in BS 7919. HO7 RN-F cable is suitable

Arctic cable is only designed for outdoor use at 110v, we recommend using HO7 RN-F rubber cable for temporary 230v outdoor use including marquees.
