Please Note: These strings are not supplied with a starter plug connector cable (ELXXY/C13W), you will need at least one. Can also be used with 3 and 6 way adapters.

Customer Comment:

Flimsy and pins in connector broke on first use. The connectors are flimsy making them malformed and not easy to push in. I pushed the connector in. The lights came on at first, but went out. I took the connector apart again and the pins had broken off and were stuck in the other half. On another set the pins bent. The lights I bought last year were of much higher quality. Feels very much like cost cutting at manufacture giving a poorer finish.

On 02-Aug-2017 the supplier responded:
Hi Paul.

Thanks for your feedback, we always welcome feedback as we do take note and can use it to help improve our products and service forall our customers.

This morning both myself and Alex (technical Lighting Sales) have examined your products and the complete range. Ourmanufacturer in China did use a softer plastic for this latest batch, we were told this helps with waterproofing and general usein colder winter temperatures, so it has been sold to us as a superior product

Yesyou are correct that there is some flexability in the pins, and the softer shell round the pins. We found the functionality to be good, although you do need to be a bit more careful to align the pins when joining plugs and sockets. We never got any broken or bent pins.Onreflection I agree with you, and prefer the harder plastic, so we will make sure that future stocks are ordered in the harder plastic.

We will also be offering you free replacements.

Sorry for all the inconvenience.
