An in line enclosure to protect cable runs between power source (i.e. house) and main distribution board (in marquee). Fitted with an MCB and an RCD (100mA), the cable will be protected from earth faults and overload. The enclosure at one end will have 2m of cable to bare ends (for wiring into a house or generator), and at the other end 2m of cable to a socket. The RCD trip is rated at 100mA - less sensitive than the distribution boards which are 30mA, so most minor earth faults will only trip the distribution board. A red neon light is fitted to indicate the power is on

The enclosure at one end will have 1m of cable to Lugs , and at the other end 1m of cable to a 63A Mennekes Blue IP67 socket.
