What are disco effects?

Disco effects, also referred to as FX lights, are a way of creating interesting and eye-catching lighting effects and memorable moments on the dancefloor. But they don’t only have to be used in a disco setting, they can also be used at parties and clubs, festivals and more. From bubble and smoke effect machines that add a new dimension to a venue, to coloured lighting that creates a fun atmosphere for your guests, and mirror balls that create that glittered effect on the floor and walls of the surrounding environment, disco effects can be used alone or together for a unique setting. 

When to use disco effects

Disco effects are a fun way to create a unique setting for your guests, and there are so many applications where they can be used to full effect. You may be putting on a concert, for example, or a gig and want to use lasers and smoke machines to add drama and excitement; or maybe you’re putting on a theatre production and you want to add moving lights to your lighting system for added interest to the show. Disco effects aren’t limited to the dancefloor, but of course they can also be used successfully in clubs and bars too, to add to the party atmosphere.
