PAT Testing and Servicing

PAT Testing

Keeping you and your employees safe.

PAT Testing

Portable appliance testing (PAT), is a way of checking your electrical equipment to see if it is safe and is vital to protect your business and its employees.

Most electrical safety defects can be found by visual examination, but some types of defect can only be found by testing.

By regularly carrying out PAT Testing you can ensure compliance with The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which requires that any electrical equipment that has the potential to cause injury is maintained in a safe condition.

A relatively brief user check can be a very useful part of any electrical maintenance regime. However, more formal visual inspection and testing by a competent professional is also required at appropriate intervals, depending upon the type of equipment and the environment in which it is used.

As power and lighting specialists, we offer comprehensive testing and servicing to our customers, from extension leads to power distribution boxes.

We can provide 'one-off' or regular testing programmes, and even provide training so your employee could continue the tests in future. Read more on our Training Courses here.

If you are looking at organising an electrical testing project at your business, or for tenanted premises, we are happy to provide advice and assistance and provide a personalised PAT testing quote.

Our mission is to enable our customers to fulfil their electrical equipment safety obligations and provide a better working environment for their employees.
