The Team at Essential Supplies hope you had a great Holiday season and a fantastic New Year! To kick this year off, we're taking a look at some of the Highlights of 2023 while we warm up to an exciting 2024!

Staff Update

 

By now you may be familiar with some of our new members of staff - here is a brief recap starting with the Sales Team!

Peter joined us late into 2022 as a Sales Supervisor and was given the opportunity to lead the Sales Team midway through 2023! Peter's team expanded when Grace joined as a Sales Assistant and Jeremy joined as our Lighting Sales specialist.

With the addition of Niamh ("Nee-iv" in September 2023, our Sales team was complete!

Next up it's the Office Team

First up this year was Joseph, who jumped into the Marketing Coordinator role in early 2023, maintaining our website and helping to produce Marketing Material including the blog you're currently reading!

Towards the end of the year, Jack R. joined us as Lead Business Intelligence, helping us to optimise vital processes and opening up countless exciting possibilites going into 2024...

Last but not least it's the Workshop Team.

Early last year we were joined by Jack B. who works part-time while he studies at College and Nikolas who joined us in late 2023 and has already conquered many essential elements of the Workshop.

While we take a giant step forward into 2024, let's take the opportunity to look back at some of our greatest accomplishments and most notable events of 2023!

Starting with...

Leadership Shift

In August, we saw James Cottam take on his new role as Managing Director of Essential Supplies while company founder Simon James moves into Chairman position. After starting the company from the confines of a garage unit in 1997, Simon has skilfully grown Essential Supplies UK Ltd into a thriving business with over 20 full-time employees.

"From our humble beginnings 26 Years ago, supplying Uplighters, Ropes and Fixings to a handful of customers, we’ve come a long way. Only recently we’ve been supplying power solutions to events and organisations such as NHS Nightingale Hospitals, the 2021 Qatar World Cup and the International Olympic Committee – IOC!

In light of this growth, we are excited to share that James Cottam, after a hugely impactful year as Operations Manager, will now lead the way as our Managing Director. With a history in managing his family’s fabrication factory in Cornwall and a strong engineering background, James is no stranger to leading the way for a growing business.

Under James’ leadership, the Essential Supplies team have already seen the fantastic results of his input. The team are confident in his ability to uphold and elevate the standards, reliability and service that customers have come to expect from us."

Trade Pricing Structure

In September, we unveiled our new Trade Pricing structure. This structure rewards users who create an account with us, with up to 5% Discount on thousands of our products. The more you spend on our webstore, the more discount you will recieve - it's really that easy!

Titan Power: Monitoring Range Launch

In October, Titan Power launched the Monitoring Range. This is a range of Advanced Power Distribution Boards that integrate Cloud Based Remote Metering and Control Software that records data through Ethernet, 4G or WiFi.

Iscoyd Park

In August, Iscoyd Park invited Essential Supplies to view their longstanding Wedding Marquee. The linings were being replaced for a fresh look to the venue, with modern Flexible Lighting, that could be easily tuned to suit their clients different requiremenets. Here's how Essential Supplies transformed their space.

Finally, here's a glimpse at where you can expect to see us later this year...

In February, we'll be attending the Executive Hire Show in Coventry to promore the Titan Power Range.

The Essential Supplies Team won't stop there, as we will be traveling to entirely new shoes this year! In April, we are attending the Middle East Energy convension in Dubai to continue to promote the Titan Power Range!
